Design Management

Senior members of our team bring extensive experience coordinating and managing multidisciplinary services spanning the full life cycle of projects, from planning and consenting to design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. While maintaining Technical Integrity as a core value of our design and delivery approach, we collaborate with other like-minded technical specialists to produce holistic infrastructure solutions that are safe and cost-effective to construct, operate, and maintain. With a strong network of established delivery partners, including our sister company Andy O’Sullivan Geotechnical Engineering, we can offer our clients access to a high calibre of expertise across disciplines, all delivered under a streamlined, one-stop-shop model, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency from concept to completion.
Procurement
With extensive experience in designing and delivering complex infrastructure, we understand the vital role a well-considered procurement strategy plays in achieving our clients’ desired outcomes. From the outset, we work closely with clients to identify key project drivers such as risk appetite, price certainty, and delivery priorities, and tailor a procurement approach. This ensures that investigation works, design deliverables, and tender documentation are appropriately scoped to support the selected strategy. During the procurement process, we will proceed to provide technically and commercially sound advice to our client, including with respect to bid evaluation and contract negotiation, and help our clients achieve best-for-project outcomes that optimise value, manage risk, and ensure delivery certainty.
Contract Administration & MSQA Services
We offer a comprehensive range of services throughout the construction phase of a project, including Contract Administration and MSQA (Management, Surveillance, and Quality Assurance). Our team members can also act as the Engineer to the Contract or Engineer’s Representative, ensuring all works are delivered per design specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety standards. Our experienced engineers work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that all construction activities are properly executed, tested, and signed off. Where required, we can also assist with the delivery of Producer Statements and Compliance Statements (e.g., PS4 and CS4), supporting smooth project close-out and regulatory compliance.
